A Veil of Tiny Points

March 2020

A Veil of Tiny Points is a chaotic journey of individuation and ensemble as entity. The material is derived from very small motive and the work is primarily an exploration of that motive in transposition and expansion/contraction. It was such a pleasure working with the Boulder Altitude Directive on this commission. I hope you enjoy listening to the work as much as we all enjoyed putting it together.

One Movement, 8′-00″

for the Boulder Altitude Directive, director Carter Pann

Instrumentation:

flute, piccolo
clarinet and B-flat
